About the Opportunity
This is a rewarding opportunity to join the Operations Directorate as a Work Coordinator (Operations). You will coordinate and assist in the scoping, planning, delivery and review of projects within Council’s Delivery and Operational Plan and capital projects.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in operational project support, administration or contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- SafeWork NSW Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current and maintained NSW Drivers Licence
It will be highly desirable if you possess any of the following:
- Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Operations or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in the management/coordination of administration functions within an operational unit/section or business.
- Knowledge of the role, functions and responsibilities of Local Government

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Parkes Shire Council's policies and conditions of employment.
The role has been evaluated as being within Grade 11 of Council's salary structure with a commencing salary of $74,772.58 per annum. The commencing salary to be determined upon the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful candidate and also includes super and salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay.
